SCMS hosted an International Conference on "Aging Well - Social and Managerial Challenges" from 17th to 19th January. It was well brought to the fact that the amount of elderly people all over the globe, especially in countries like India and China have increased rapidly in recent years. With this huge increase in the amount of elderly in countries' geography have faced challenges that have to be related in the best way, keeping general concepts of care and control for older persons in the head. And that's something the conference point to create over the conference of three days.
Dr. S. Irudaya Rajan, Chair Professor, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) Research Unit on International Migration at the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala was a big and famous name of the conference. He has approximately thirty years of research experience in the field and has also published several books and other things on social, economic and geographic implications on global migration.
There were several other dignitaries who attended this International Conference that held across different venues on the sprawling campus. Dr. Radha Thevannoor, Convenor, ICAW and Director, SCMS who has an aesthetic experience in the area was in the thick of action as well. To make things more interesting, the organizers invited research papers on different themes for the conference.
