Emerging Kerala is the term given to a biennial share holder summit organized by the Government of Kerala in Kerala, India. The event is marked at bringing jointly business innovators, shareholders, collaborations, thought innovators, policy and decision makers; the summit is advertised as a platform to understand and explore business chances in the State of Kerala. SCMS-COCHIN has given us this promising opportunity of being under the same roof as some of the famous management speakers and leaders!” says a student of SCMS. “I’m especially looking forward to hearing Mr. Chandra Shekhar Verma, who is Chairman of SAIL, Dr. Shashi Tharoor (Member of Parliament), Mr. S.D. Shibulal who is the CEO of Infosys, and Dr. E. Sreedharan, the founder of Delhi Metro. The selected volunteers for ‘Emerging Kerala’ were being put through a series of special training sessions, both at SCMS-COCHIN. These sessions include co-ordination and practices of different activities, as well as classes on formal etiquette and connection, required while interacting with characters of international eminence
